Amendment of a significant contract in St. Roch’s Hospital in Ozimek near Opole

Pursuant to §5 (1) (3) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finances of 19 February 2009 on current and periodical information provided by issuers of securities, the Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. informs that on 30 January 2012 the Company received the contracts concluded with the National Health Fund - the Opolskie Voivodeship Branch in Opole (the Fund Branch), regarding healthcare services in the scope of  palliative care, and provision of nursing and care services as part of long-term care for  the period from 1 January to 31 December 2012.

Healthcare services referred hereinabove are provided by the hospital owned by EMC Instytut Medyczny SA - St. Roch's Hospital in Ozimek near Opole.


The Issuer informed about the contracts concluded with the Fund Branch concerning rendering services in 2012 in its current reports no 7/2012 of 24.01.2012.

As a result of signing the said contracts, the total maximum Fund Branch liability towards the Company has changed and it currently amounts to PLN 13,324,507.38  (an increase by PLN. 2, 948,847.60) for the period from 1 January to 31 December 2012.

A criterion for a contract to be considered significant:
The value of contracts exceeds 10% of the Issuer’s equity capital.
