Maciej Piorunek - Member of the Management Board, Director of Operations

Maciej Piorunek has been Member of the Management Board and Director of Operations of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. since October 1, 2016. He joined the Company at the beginning of 2015. He graduated in Public Administration from Uniwersytet Wroclawski.

He was:

Vice Chairman of the Management Board of Supra Holding S.A. from 2013 to 2014,
Chairman of the Management Board of Milickie Centrum Medyczne sp. z o.o. from 2010 to 2012
Director of Zespol Publicznych Zakladow Opieki Zdrowotnej w Miliczu from 2008 to 2011.

Tomasz Terlecki - Management Board member - Financial Director

Tomasz Terlecki was appointed a member of the Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny SA on 20 September 2018. He is responsible for the strategy, management and financial control of the EMC Group, risk management, acquisitions, investments, purchases, controlling, internal audit and ensuring corporate governance.

Tomasz Terlecki is a certified auditor. He has a postgraduate degree in finance and banking from the University of Economics in Wrocław. He has also completed the Strategic Leadership Academy program and Management program run by CIMI & HBR. He obtained a Master’s degree in electronics from Wrocław University of Technology.

He has a strong strategic finance management and auditing background from working among others in:

-UNIT4 - finance director, member of the Management Board (2013-2017)

-Elsevier - finance director, member of the Management Board (2012-2013)

 -Ruukki - finance director (Eastern Europe) (2009-2012)

 -Lincoln Electric - finance director (Central and Eastern Europe) (2002-2009)

Martin Hrežo - the Supervisory Board Member delegate to temporarily performed the duties of President of Management Board

Martin Hrežo graduated from the University of Economics in Košice, Slovakia. He holds an MBA degree from Durham Business School, UK, is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), member of the International Institute of Asset Management (IAM) and the associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Martin Hrežo joined PHI group in January 2017 after several years being CFO and BoD member of Svet zdravia, the largest private general hospital network in Slovakia. He is responsible for overall financial management and procurement.

Martin Hrežo has a strong financial and management consulting background from working in world renowned firms like Deloitte and Grant Thornton. He has also vast experience from complex restructuring/transformation projects in manufacturing, utility (Taylor–Wharton, Východoslovenská energetika) and healthcare sector.
