Amendment to a significant contract in the subsidiary company “Powiatowe Centrum Zdrowia” sp. z o.o. in Kowary

 

Pursuant to §5 (1) (3) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finances of 19 February 2009 on current and periodical information provided by issuers of securities, the Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. informs that on 20 December 2012 the Company received  annexes to the contracts concluded by the subsidiary company Powiatowe Centrum Zdrowia sp. z o.o. with the National Health Fund - the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship Branch in Wrocław (the Fund Branch) regarding healthcare services such as outpatient specialist care, outpatient specialist care within the scope of comprehensive outpatient  specialist care over a patient with a chronic disease, psychiatric care and addiction treatment, nursing  and care services as well as therapeutic rehabilitation for the period from 1 January to 31 December  2012.
 
Healthcare services referred to hereinabove are provided by the subsidiary company of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A.- “Powiatowe Centrum Zdrowia” sp. z o.o. in Kowary. 
 
The Issuer informed about the contracts concluded by “Powiatowe Centrum Zdrowia” sp. z o.o. in Kowary with the Fund Branch concerning services rendered in 2012 in its current reports nos. 2/2012 of 20.01.2012, 10/2012 of 25.01.2012, 19/2012 of 02.02.2012, 30/2012 of 02.03.2012, 47/2012 of  02.05.2012, 50/2012 of 28.05.2012, 53/2012 of 01.06.2012, 65/2012 of 21.06.2012, 67/2012 of 29.06.2012, 75/2012 of 08.08.2012, 88/2012 of 03.09.2012, 91/2012 of 06.09.2012, 99/2012 of 26.09.2012 and 110/2012 of 16.11.2012. 
 
As a result of signing the abovementioned annexes, the total maximum Fund Branch liability towards the subsidiary company “Powiatowe Centrum Zdrowia” sp. z o.o. in  Kowary has changed and it currently amounts to PLN  16,949,901.93 (an increase by PLN 27,732.61) for the period from 1 January to 31 December 2012. 
 
The other material terms of the contract with the highest value made public remain unchanged.
 
 A criterion for a contract to be considered significant: The value of contracts exceeds 10% of the Issuer’s equity capital.
