Positive outcome of the audit supervising the ISO 9001:2000 in EuroMediCare	16-02-2007
On 16th February, the EuroMediCare Specialist Hospital and Outpatient Clinic has successfully undergone external audit, another in its history, carried out by Dekra ITS, an external certifying company. The audit confirmed that in the hospital and the clinic the ISO 9001:2000 system is functioning correctly.

The opening of the modernized Lubmed Outpatient Clinic in Lubin	15-12-2006
On 15th December, a newly renovated building of the Outpatient Clinic at ul. Gwarków owned by Lubmed Sp. z o.o., a daughter company of EMC Medical Institute S.A., officially opens in Lubin. The renovation works lasted several months without suspending the normal operation of the Clinic.

St. George's Hospital in Kamień Pomorski has received an honourable mention in a national campaign, ‘Humane Labour’, launched by Gazeta Wyborcza, as a mother- and child-friendly hospital. A humane labour, as it is understood by the organisers of the campaign and its participants, means giving birth in an environment where human dignity is respected and in which friendly care is provided with no additional payment.

The opening of St. Anthony's Hospital in Ząbkowice Śląskie	10-11-2006
Renovation works lasting long months finally come to an end and on 10th November 2006 the newly renovated St. Anthony’s Hospital in Ząbkowice Śląskie officially opens. With the opening of the new hospital, personnel and equipment are transferred from the facility hitherto occupied. Owing to its long history (est. 1905) and years of neglect while unoccupied, the hospital required thorough renovation and adjustment to the requirements of the contemporary medicine.

On 19th July 2006, EMC Medical Institute S.A. purchased 4,824 shares in Mikulicz Sp. z o.o., the owner of the hospital in Świebodzice, from the Świebodzice commune. The shares constitute 90% of the total and entitle the company to 90% of the votes at the Annual General Meeting.

The Parties have signed two agreements, for the lease of the building housing the clinic, located at ul. Łowiecka in Wrocław, and for the provision of services under the Occupational Medicine scheme.

A series of conferences organised by EMC Medical Institute S.A and held in Wrocław as part of the Eu-Med-East international programme.	23-06-2005
During the conference, the participants outlined framework guidelines for cross-border procurement and storage of pharmaceuticals and medical materials and developed a project for logistics centres. By a decision of the Chief Board of the Polish Association of Surgeons, the EuroMediCare Endoscopy Laboratory was awarded a Certificate granting the facility an assessment and supervision licence, which authorizes it to provide training in diagnostic and operative endoscopy of the gastro-intestinal tract.
