Research and development studies

Considering the rapid progress of science and medical technologies as well as the necessity for continuous development and training of medical professionals, EMC S.A. undertakes numerous research and development projects in its subsidiaries, primarily focused on biomaterials in surgery and pathophysiology, as well as treatment of gastro-intestinal diseases and motor dysfunctions.
The outcome of the projects already completed are publications in acclaimed, indexed Polish and foreign magazines. The results of studies are presented at conventions and symposia held both in Poland and abroad.
The high esteem accorded to EMC S.A. physicians is reflected in their participation as editors in key publications that cover various medical fields.
The General Surgery Unit of the EuroMediCare hospital in Wrocław has been granted by the Minister of Health the right to specialize in general surgery. Additionally, the hospital has been authorized by the Polish Association of Surgeons to teach surgical endoscopy of the gastrointestinal tract.
Another direction for research is participation in clinical trials on new pharmaceuticals and medical materials. Our research and development team is highly experienced in conducting clinical trials and trained in GCP as well.
We owe the high quality of the trials we conduct to the experience of teams who are continuously upgrading their skills in GCP as well as supervision procedures, which always comply with the company’s policy of quality.
EMC facilities conduct both inpatient and outpatient clinical trials in the field of their specialization.
