2006

  • December 15, 2006
    Lubmed, a daughter company of EMC Medical Institute S.A., puts into service a wholly renovated Outpatient Clinic at ul. Gwarków, one of three EMC subsidiaries.

  • November 23, 2006
    Renovation and adaptation works lasting long months finally come to an end. The Outpatient Clinic at Łowiecka” is officially opened, the ninth medical facility in the EMC network.

  • November 10, 2006
    St. Anthony’s Hospital in Ząbkowice Śląskie is transferred from the leased facility at ul. 1 Maja to a newly renovated, historical building at ul. Chrobrego. The facility is currently one of the most modern hospitals in Poland providing services of an exceptionally high standard

  • November 9, 2006
    The Chapter of the Lower Silesia Economic Certificate, headed by the Speaker of the Lower Silesia Province, grants EMC Medical Institute S.A. a certificate awarded to the region`s leading companies.

  • October 24, 2006
    In 2006, EuroMediCare from Wrocław is ranked by Rzeczpospolita the number one privately owned hospital in Poland.

  • July 19, 2006
    EMC Medical Institute S.A. purchases shares in MIKULICZ Sp. z o.o., the owner of the hospital in Świebodzice. The facility, now a community hospital, is the fifth hospital in general and the third in the Lower Silesia province to become a part of the EMC network.

  • January 1, 2006
    The opening of the "Outpatient Clinic at Łowiecka", a former Energetyk s.c. outpatient clinic taken over from Kogeneracja S.A., the heat and power generation complex. 

 

2005

  • September 25, 2005
    EMC Medical Institute S.A. purchases 99.7% of shares in LUBMED Sp. z o.o., a company which owns a complex of three outpatient clinics in the Lubin area.

  •  September 6, 2005
     The opening of the St. George Hospital in Kamień Pomorski. The hospital replaces a former community hospital.

  •  July 29, 2005
     EMC Medical Institute S.A. is granted a certificate of awarding the “Stock Market Company” logo and thereby its securities are introduced to the stock market.


2004

  • October 26, 2004
    EuroMediCare hospital in Wrocław is ranked in the National Private Hospitals Rating in 2004, published in Rzeczpospolita, the second best hospital in Poland. The rating, commissioned by Rzeczpospolita, was prepared by the Centre of Quality Monitoring in Healthcare Sector.

    EuroMediCare is awarded the Lower Silesia Economic Certificate in the most recent edition of the contest

  • May 1, 2004
    The opening of the EuroMediCare hospital in Ozimek, near Opole.

  • March 18, 2004
     "DEKRA" ITS CERTIFICATION SERVICES ranks EuroMediCare in Wrocław Private Hospital of the Year 2003. Before our hospital was awarded this honourable title, a special audit had been carried out on nearly 100 facilities across the country. EuroMediCare received the award in recognition of the high quality of its services.

 

2003 

  • November 21, 2003
    A statuette of the Lower Silesia Economic Certificate is officially granted to EuroMediCare during the 5th Lower Silesia Political and Economic Forum in Krzyżowa. During the Forum, members of the EuroMediCare`s Management Board participated in a plenary session dedicated to the protection of health and discussed the current situation in privately owned hospitals in Poland and the EU.

  • October 27, 2003
    The EuroMediCare hospital in Wrocław is ranked by Wprost the 8th-best surgical hospital in Poland in 2003 (the best amongst private hospitals)

  • June 25, 2003
    EuroMediCare is awarded the Lower Silesia Economic Certificate by the Business Centre Club. The purpose of the certificate is to distinguish and honour regional businesses whose activities contribute to the province's development, help create a strong labour market, and provide examples of quality, innovation and reliability. 12 Prize winners, including EuroMediCare, had to fulfil a number of criteria, e.g. show an operating profit, apply innovative technology and continuously increase productivity

  • April 28, 2003
    EuroMedicare in Wrocław and representatives of the remaining four Lower Silesia private hospitals sign an Act of Association of the Lower Silesian Branch of the Private Hospitals Association. The Lower Silesian Branch will act in cooperation with other branches of the National Association of Private Hospitals

  • March 27, 2003
    EuroMediCare Medical Institute Sp. z o.o. is granted an award in recognition of the high quality of its services in the international Dekra Award contest whose official final part took place in Stuttgart. The contest featured 200 European companies, all of which had to be holders of the ISO 9001:2000 certificate. The auditors inspecting the facilities of the contestants focused on general management and development strategy, employee-oriented management, the management system and processes therein and employee and customer satisfaction. In the first stage the hospital was amongst 40 enterprises which, according to the auditors, fulfilled the criteria best. 14 of those made it to the final: three won the main prizes and 11, including EuroMediCare, were distinguished.


2002

  • December 7, 2002
    The founding of the National Association of Private Hospitals in Gdynia. One of the founders and a member of the board is Piotr Gerber, the President of EMC. The National Association of Private Hospitals is a non-governmental organisation focused on extensive development of private medical facilities.

  • January 22, 2002
    As the first hospital in Poland, EuroMediCare is granted the global Quality Certificate ISO 9001:2000. The document demonstrates that the system of quality management relating to multi-profile medical services provided both in hospitals and outpatient clinics has been properly implemented (i.e. in compliance with the standard). Currently, the system is continuously monitored by both internal auditors as well as specialists from an external certifying company, Dekra ITS.


2001

  • January 20, 2001
    The opening of the EuroMediCare Specialist Hospital and Outpatient Clinic in Wrocław.


2000

  • May 16, 2000
    The founding of EuroMediCare Medical Institute Sp. z o.o.
